Moses Bomett

Founder of Hope 4 Africa Inc.

Having studied in both Kenya and the US, Moses saw first-hand the disparity between the two education systems. While most children in the US were able to study, Kenyan families often lacked the funds necessary to send their children to school (often as little as $20 per child per month). In March, 2008 Moses (then 16 years-old) launched Hope 4 Africa Club in his high school in West Des Moines, IA. Two years later, Hope 4 Africa has grown from a high school club to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers substantial support to four schools in Nakuru, Kenya. Moses is now a freshman at Iowa State University.
