Use of TippingBucket.org— By accessing the website, you accept TippingBucket.org “as is” and choose to use it at your own risk.

Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of the website owner.

Abuse of TippingBucket.org—We may limit or terminate our service, remove content and take technical and legal steps to prevent users from the site if we think they are creating problems or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies. We don’t tolerate offensive or disrespectful content and we reserve the right to remove any content and/or block users who engage in such practice. Donations— You are making a donation to The Tipping Bucket, a registered US 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations made through the site are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt by email. If you fail to receive a receipt, or would like to request an additional receipt be sent, contact us by e-mailing receipts@tippingbucket.org.

Payments—Project partners will be paid according to the agreement they make with the Tipping Bucket. To request a copy of this agreement, send an e-mail request to requests@tippingbucket.org. If, within the time frame agreed upon by The Tipping Bucket and the person or organization submitting a project, the funding goal is reached, (eg: the Bucket “tips”) all donations will be collected. If time runs out before the bucket tips, all donations will be cancelled. All donations may be cancelled at any time before a bucket tips. To cancel a donation, contact cancellations@tippingbucket.org. Once a project has tipped, all donations will be collected and are non-refundable unless an error has been made on the part of The Tipping Bucket. If you believe an error has been made, you agree to contact cancellations@tippingbucket.org within 5 days of the error.

Disclaimer of Liability—To the extent legally permitted we expressly disclaim all liability for any loss, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury, liability, or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company) as a result of, or which may be attributable (directly or indirectly) to your access and use of the website, any information contained on the website, your or your company’s personal information or material, and information transmitted over our system.

Severability—Any provision of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices, which is or becomes unenforceable in any jurisdiction, whether due to being void, invalid, illegal, unlawful, or for any reason whatever, shall in such jurisdiction only (and only to the extent that it is so unenforceable) be treated as void and the remaining provisions of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices shall remain in full force and effect.

Applicable laws (choice of venue and forum)—Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, regardless of the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law. The parties agree that the Utah courts located in Utah County, Utah, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all controversies arising under this agreement and agree that venue is proper in those courts.

The Tipping Bucket may update these terms at any time, with updates taking effect 30 days after they are initially posted on the Site.
